Educations slot: referrals

Sharon Charteress from Mood design Solutions spoke about referrals. We all want referrals and ideally we would all like them now, but, the only way that will happen is if we know each other!

I need to know that if I refer you to one of my best business contacts that they will be happy with the outcome and my reputation as a go to person when you need a service is preserved and hopefully elevated.

It takes time to build a relationship and trust and without it, you may get lucky and receive some great referrals, but you will receive many more once you have established firm relationships with each other.

In 2018 The journal of social and personal relationships published a report that stated:

It takes approximately 50 hours of interaction to move from a acquaintance to a casual friend, 90 hours to be real friends and200 hours to be close friend

Take time to get to know your fellow members and the referrals will come.
